Are You Being Faithful To The Lord Until Death?
By Ron Boatwright
Jesus says, "Be faithful until death and I will give you the crown of life" (Revelation 2:10). The purpose of this course is to encourage the faithful Christian to remain faithful and committed to the Lord. This course is also to help the Christian who is weak in the faith to become "even more diligent to make your calling and election sure" (2 Peter 1:10) and for the Christian who has become unfaithful to come back "from the error of his way to save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins" (James 5:20). Jesus is only the "rewarder of those who diligently seek Him" (Hebrews 11:6). The scripture references are given in red.
In this course I have tried to point to only what the Bible says, and not to what I think. We must speak where the Bible speaks and be silent where the Bible is silent. We must do things in Bible ways and call things by Bible names. Anything that is less than, more than, or different from what the Bible says is false doctrine. False doctrine will cause one to lose his soul in eternity.
This study is designed for those who have been baptized for the forgiveness of their sins so they can be saved (Mark 16:16). The Lord then adds them to His church (Acts 2:47) the Church of Christ (Romans 16:16). If you have not been added by the Lord to His one true church, the Church of Christ, it is suggested that you first study "Are You Really Sure Of Your Eternal Salvation?"
Going to Heaven must be our number one priority in this short life here on the earth. Nothing is as important. Jesus says to "Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown" (Revelation 3:11) and "He who endures to the end will be saved" (Matthew 10:22). You are to be commended for your desire to be faithful to the Lord until death. If this study helps just one Christian to remain faithful, it will be worth it. It is my hope that this course will help. Permission is given for you to copy and print anything in this course, if no material gain is made. If you have any questions or comments please email me at [email protected] I deeply care. Ron Boatwright.
